So close, and yet...so far

I've finally finished sock no. 2. I knit 6 rows of stockinette before starting the toe. I even grafted the toe and...it's still too short! That's it!! I'm resting sock no. 2 and am ripping out the toe of sock no. 1 and will do another pattern repeat before decreasing for the toe. These are the socks that will never end...and the deadline is looming!
